9月16日(日)、スインバーン大学ホーソン校にて、第43回日本語弁論大会のビクトリア州予選が行われました。午前中にシニア部門として高校生の部、午後はオープン部門として大学生以上の方々が参加し、今年も非常にレベルの高い充実した大会となりました。
本年度、メルボルン日本商工会議所は初めての試みとして “JCCIM Internship Oppotunity”という賞を設けました。この賞は近年大学において日本語を履修する人数が減少気味という事実を受け、少しでもモチベーションの高まりに寄与することができればとの思いで急遽実施が決まったものです。
