On 30 October 2013, the Victorian Government is hosting the “Melbourne Celebrates Mining” industry dinner to celebrate the global reach and achievements of the Australian mining and mining services industry.
Given the importance of the mining and mining services industry to the future economic growth of Australia and its international partners, I invite you and your membership to participate in this event. The METS industry (mining, engineering and technical and services) alone is worth $90 billion to the Australian economy.
Held in the same week as the Mines and Money Australia Conference, the event will attract up to 1000 industry representatives. This presents an unique opportunity for the Chamber’s business network to connect with high level decision-makers from industry and government.
The dinner will showcase the broad spectrum of mining capabilities, from business leaders, innovators, manufacturers, training and research institutes, professional service providers and government all in one forum.
