貿易、投資、教育、芸術を通し過去何十年にも亘り培われてきた日本とビクトリア州の密接な関係をさらに強固にするため、デニス・ナプサインVIC州首相は初の公式訪問として、2013年10月20~23日に日本を訪れます。
州首相は東京で行われる日豪経済合同委員会 (JAJBC) の会議に出席し食糧、エネルギー、インフラ分野での日豪（VIC)の協力機会についてスピーチするほか、自動車業界、建設業界、エネルギー業界、金融及び小売業界の主要企業と面談を行います。
会議出席の後はVIC州と姉妹都市でもある愛知県を訪問し、30年にも亘る重要な関係を一層強化するために政府関係者、商業・教育分野での主要パートナーと会談致します。
The Premier of Victoria will make his first official visit to Japan from 20 – 23 October 2013.
The visit will build on Victoria’s strong relationship with Japan, which is based on decades of close co-operation through trade, investment, education, tourism and the arts.
The Premier will attend the Japan-Australia Joint Business Conference (JAJBC) in Tokyo, where he will give a speech on regional food security, energy and infrastructure and the opportunities for Victoria and Japan to collaborate in these areas.
The Premier will also meet with important Japanese businesses with interests in Victoria in sectors including automotive, infrastructure, energy, financial services and retail.
Following his attendance at the conference, the Premier will visit Aichi Prefecture, Victoria’s sister state in Japan. He will meet with Government officials and important trade and education partners to reinforce this important relationship, which is now over 30 years old.
